Wow – you’ve definitely gotten a lot of travel in. I see you visited Senegal. I spent some time there many many years ago and still crave yassa poulet.
Hi Ellen! Yep, Senegal was actually the first country I ever visited in Africa. Most of the travels you see on that map are from my time in the US Air Force, so unfortunately I didn’t get to do a lot of sightseeing or touristy kind of things, but it was still very much an adventure. I’m looking forward to seeing MUCH more of the world and being able to do so at a much slower pace so I can really enjoy it.
I’m actually working on a Google Map that has pins of all the places I’ve been along with a little description of what/when/why I visited. I think it’ll be cool to look back on later in life. I’ll post it up when I’m finished.
